Apple iPad tablet computer

Albeit being a little tired of the feminine hygiene product parodies associated with Apple's latest product offering - the iPad, I'm rather excited to see/touch/play with it when it launches on the Australian market in March (I think?). With a 25cm display and measuring up at 1.3cm thick, its 700gram weight seems too good to be true. Having a touch-screen and multimedia capabilities, its list of features pop out to me like a suped-up iPhone minus the phone-call and camera functions.
The functions all receive ticks from me:
Surf the net, check emails, watch videos and movies, play games, read ebooks, listen to music, admire and sort photos...
Since its a tablet computer, I'm wondering if there'll be additional apps that will utilise its touch-screen for more design-oriented functions.

Interestingly though, Apple could be faced with trademark disputes...
Fujitsu launched an iPad product a year ago. Fujitsu's iPad is a handheld device that serves more for operational purposes in helping companies keep stock of their inventory by allowing them to scan barcodes and store data.
Canadian company Coconut Grove Pads Inc has a line of bra inserts call the "iPad". My favourite (for the silly girl in me *giggles*) goes to the "ai pad", made by a Japanese manufacturer of adult nappies with a "twist" (thanks SMH).
