Even if I have just spent a tidy sum on an online purchase, the anticipation of it coming in the mail and how it's going to be packaged and getting to open it, adds to the excitement of eventually being able to use or wear the said bought item/s.
One of my favourite places to buy things has to be etsy.com. I love receiving the handwritten notes that come with the cute packages (but then, I'm someone who still enjoys writing letters via snail mail!). I guess its the thought and effort that is applied and knowing the person went that little bit further to try to put a smile on your face.
