Much about sakura
Have been preoccupied with various other things lately, so have pretty much neglected writing.

What's happening?
I'm one of those people who goes through various peaks and troughs of blog activity.
Sometimes I have so much I want to write/ record, but lately I'm so unconsciously busy, that I find it hard to even scrounge up enough awake time to perouse my favourite blogs and websites. For someone who is a self confessed Internet addict, it says a lot when I've started spending less time in front of the lappy and more time in front of the TV. So what's been keeping me in front of the box lately?
Reality tv shows involving renovations and interior design!
There seems to be a plethora of these types of shows as of late, all revolving around people competing for monetary prizes for coming up with the best selling/ most marketable home, unit, room etc etc
Since etsy is one of my favourite places to spend hours at, here's a couple of modern & vintage items for the home that caught my eye:

Autumn blues... or should that be orange and red?
Haven't posted due to lack of home Internet access. Who knows what excuse the telco has, but it still hasn't been resolved. Maybe a wizard came and severed all the cables with his magic wand with some binding magic spell that can't be undone until a fair maiden arrives on a cloud to kiss it better. Bleh, not happy at all.
In any case, I've been bed ridden due to sounding like an old man with a smoker's cough i.e. am sick. No fun to be had.

Am wondering if this movie will come out in cinemas here...the movie is is based on Haruki Murakami's 23-year-old best-selling novel.
Upon hearing the song "Norwegian Wood," Toru (Matsuyama) remembers back to his life in the 1960s, when his friend Kizuki killed himself and he grew close to Naoko, Kizuki's girlfriend. As the two try, in very different ways, to contend with their grief, Toru forms a bond with another woman, Midori."

Tribal colours
Loved the colours and prints used by Australian label Sass & Bide in their Autumn/ Winter 2011/12 Ready to Wear show. Their jeans are still hands down my favourite (needless to say, I have around 6-7 pairs!)
