So, I have been known to indulge myself in footwear purchases, but my latest acquisition brings a smile to my face. Whilst simple and highly practical in wearability, the fact that they are an addition to my modest but growing collection, makes it all the more worthwhile a purchase. They are none other than my new black mono Converse Chuck Taylor hi-tops. Purchased from an efficient eBayer located in the States, for the price of a cafe steak, I was able to snap these babies up in "my" size:
I can picture it now: print dress with black chucks to add that indie rock vibe. I like the idea of it being a soft & girly/ dark & mysterious look. With them on, I feel like an instant rock goddess. I could learn to enjoy dressing with that slashy vibe.
