Flicking through the latest round of fashion magazines (Kinokuniya, I heart you), I noticed a strong all-white story for Spring/ Summer 2010. Minimalist shapes and breezy fabrics seem to be on the mark when it comes to the white trend for the warmer months. I’m imagining that flowy, lean silhouettes in the form of tailored trousers and shirt-dresses will epitomise this look.
In retrospect, I’ve always associated all-white dressing with frolicking (hehe) at the beach or picnics in the countryside. I’ve come to realise my head has been up in the clouds. Slip on a pale yellow cardigan over your white dress and some brown sandals or wedges and wah-la, we have an instinct clean and chic look.
