Looks like Angus & Robertson bookstores have commenced closure of some of their bookstores since announcing that they're going into administration. I didn't realise my local A&R would be closing so soon. I happened to chance upon walking past the store today and seeing 75% off all books in store. All the more popular titles had been packed up and shipped out, but I still managed to buy a book for $1.25! From a RRP of $29.95 reduced to $5, then another 75% off that! I literally gasped when I was told it was only $1.25. I felt SO bad that it'd been reduced to this amount and even worse when I realised I had no small change and handed over a $50 note and was given change in $10 and $5 notes. It made me wonder if its people like me, someone who prefers to surf for a better deal, who are the cause of these store closures. I'll be at my wits end when Borders start closing their stores...
